Beit Al-Matbouli receives visitors on daily tours and hosts occasions and cultural programmes in its majlis rooms. Here are the details of a visit, and what can be hosted.

A guided tour across the house's two floors takes about forty-five minutes, beginning in the ground-floor reception rooms and ending in the first-floor halls.

The route

    Ground floor

    Visitors begin with the diwan, the maqad, the youth maqad and the sirdab, where traditional daily life and authentic Hijazi hospitality are presented.

    First floor

    The first floor tells the life of Grandmother Nafisa Nashshar, with the sleeping rooms, the store room and the halls where she received her children and the family gathered.

Groups & schools

We arrange visits for groups, school trips and delegations at dedicated times outside peak hours, with commentary pitched to the age group.
