Beit Al-Matbouli receives visitors on daily tours and hosts occasions and cultural programmes in its majlis rooms. Here are the details of a visit, and what can be hosted.

A guided tour through the floors of the house takes about forty-five minutes, beginning in the first-floor reception rooms and rising to the halls of the second floor.

    First floor

    Visitors begin with the diwan, the maqad, the youth maqad and the sirdab, where traditional daily life and authentic Hijazi hospitality are presented.

    Second floor

    The second floor tells the life of Grandmother Nafisa Nashshar, with the sleeping rooms, the store room, the halls and the suffa, alongside the rooms of Uncle Abdulaziz and Uncle Abdulwahab.

    At the top of the house sit Beit Asaad Matbouli and the office: a hall reached by the light of the manwar from above, rented today for photography sessions.

We arrange visits for groups, school trips and delegations at dedicated times outside peak hours, with commentary pitched to the age group.
